Washington DC Day on the Hill – May 14, 2009

hill1This year was a tremendously successful and productive day of meetings with Congressmen and aids in Washington DC.  Traveling to D.C. representing WOMA’s interests this year were Craig Eerkes (Sun Pacific Energy), Gerry Ramm (Inland Oil/Vice-Chairman of PMAA), Brad Bell (Connell Oil), Dan Averill (Reisner Distributors) and Lea Wilson, WOMA’s Executive Director. Our meetings this year were focused on the following issues:

  • Ethanol Blend Wall
  • Rest Stop Commercialization
  • Commodity Futures Market Reform
  • Credit Card Interchange Fees
  • PCI Compliance
  • NORA Reauthorization
  • LIHEAP Funding
